Hi, I’m Amy!

I’ve had the privilege of living on acreage my entire life, surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature. Growing up, I always felt a deep connection to the earth—an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s this love for nature that first inspired me to explore floral design, where I found a perfect outlet for my creativity and passion for the environment.

But as much as I loved the art of floristry, there was always one thing that didn’t sit right with me: floral foam. I struggled with its environmental impact—its wastefulness, the chemicals it contains, and the long-lasting damage it causes to our planet. As a florist and nature lover, I felt a constant pull to do better.

I kept asking myself: “There has to be a better way.”
“I really dislike this stuff.”
“The environmental cost is too high.”
“This doesn’t align with our industry or with my values.”

And so, the question kept ringing in my mind: “How can I fix this?”
